ABOUT US
Welcome to the Redcliffe & District Orchid Society
We are passionate about orchids and orchid growers. Our purpose is to share our enjoyment in orchid growing with each other while building the knowledge and skills of all members in a friendly, supportive environment. We cater for the young and not so young, and for the new grower through to the seasoned, experienced growers who generously give of their wisdom and know how to everyone.
At our monthly cultural meetings we share the beauty of our orchids with one another, meet fellow enthusiasts, hear guest speakers and have practical, hands-on learning experiences in the cultivation of orchids. We also go on regular bus trips to experience orchids and lovers of orchids in other communities.
Throughout the year we hold substantial orchid show events in our community.

Thankyou!
For helping us to make our Spring 2023 orchid show a great success. We welcomed over 1000 visitors who enjoyed our display and took home with them a new addition or two to their own collections. Once again the Redcliffe Community, along with the many visitors to our beautiful peninsula on Moreton Bay have been the reason our show was such a happy and enjoyable experience for us all. We look forward to seeing you again in 2024 when our shows will be held again at the Scarborough Bowls Club. Autumn show : 19th /20th April 2024. Spring Show: 13th/14th September 2024. |
